Tank Bund

The Tank Bund is the most popular promenade of Hyderabad. It dams the Hussain Sagar.

The love for art, culture and literature of erstwhile Chief Minister Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao drove him to have thirty three statues of notable personalities of the state installed on Tank Bund.

His respect for spirituality also resulted in having the monolith of Buddha installed right in the middle of Hussain Sagar.
